Quick Start Description

If you have resources that you need to manage from a capacity, cost consumption or billing perspective then consider our Resource Management module to carry this out in Business Central.

In its simplest form the functionality allows you to buy and sell resources (such as contractor or employee time). Complex pricing structures can be introduced for different currencies, quantity, customers or vendors. Pricing can also be controlled by work type – such as overtime.

Capacity management functionality allows you set up working patterns and allocate capacity to resources or resource groups. Built in reporting functionality allows you see available time for your resources. Combine this functionality with our Project Management or Kitting modules to allow resource consumption and cost management in those areas. Our Timesheets module further enhances the functionality by allowing resources to book time against work they have carried out.

As part of the module full training will be given to key users on standard processes and existing resources will be imported and setup in Business Central.
